Christopher G. Lewis

Asheville, North Carolina

I began practicing law in 1998 and have spent my career representing individuals and corporations in civil lawsuits and administrative matters. I have represented parties in the state, federal, and appellate courts of North Carolina. For over a decade, I represented a number of insurance companies as an associate and partner in a state wide insurance defense law firm. In 2014, I decided to put this experience to work by starting my own law practice focusing on civil litigation with an emphasis on personal injury, worker's compensation, real estate litigation, and mediation.

During my legal career, I have witnessed the impact that legal matters can have on individuals as well as businesses. Whether you are injured in a car accident or have a contract dispute in your business, the effects on your daily life can be significant. My goal as an attorney is to lessen the impact these situations have on my clients' daily lives while protecting their legal rights and getting the best possible outcome for them. My clients are important to me and I strive to provide the highest level of personal attention I can to them.

I take a very practical approach to legal matters. I will sit down with you, discuss the situation, and then give you my honest opinion about what your rights are, the best way to protect them, the ways this can be achieved, and the process and procedure for how this will work. I strive to make sure my clients are well informed throughout the entire process so that there are no surprises. I view the attorney-client relationship as a collaboration and am always available when my clients have questions or concerns.
